We operate a steam train most Sundays of the year and you can pay by Cash or EFTPOS.

Big steam is back!!!!
After 15 months of over haul work C847 is back in steam and will be running this weekend, so come and see a back steam engine and have a ride or three.
Work around SSR have focused on the grounds and performing the necessary work to keep the railway going. We are always looking for help and if you would like to give some of your time we would welcome new members. You don't need to know about trains or engineering, just has an interest and we will help with the rest. Whether you can paint a carriage or help clean and engine it does not matter but if you do have and engineering background or understand electric wiring etc it would be a great help to us. If you keen you can call our secretary Rick in the evenings on 564-1133 or have a look at our 'Joining SSR' section for a membership form.
